From the "s'nailles" around the cows’ necks to the musical sculpture "Frontière," not to mention the chimes and bells of the chapels and Saint Laurent Church—bells are everywhere! Listen closely to the sweet music of the bells and their mysterious history... You’ll be surprised by all that they evoke in our mountain valleys! Don’t think that bells and cowbells served only a practical purpose… They were also a source of pride for the owner of a “well-tuned” herd, or for the village community gathered by the daily ringing of the church or chapels. The result of a mysterious alchemy between raw materials and “infernal” forces, bells echo numerous symbols…
