Description

This French-Swiss route is only for experienced snowshoers, as there are climbs and descents of varying gradients.

The trail starts at the Super-Châtel gondola lift, so you'll need a return pedestrian ticket to use the lift.

From the top of the cable car, follow the Nordic route to Lac de Conche.

From the chalets of the same name, after a short loop through the spruce forest, you can continue along the Renard path towards Chalet Neuf and the Portes de Culet pass, which offers exceptional views of the Dents du Midi, the Vaud and Valais Alps and Mont Blanc.

The return journey takes the same route.
